1 Corinthians 13:1-13

In 1 Corinthians the Apostle Paul writes a strong letter to the church at Corinth after learning that the culture of Corinth has had a more substantial impact on the church, than the church has had on Corinth. He essentially lets them know they need significant renovation as a church. Much like today’s church, Corinth had grown divided, dysfunctional, and entangled in cultural confusion. Our hope is that as we study, we will allow the Holy Spirit to bring renovation into our lives – that we might be a church that is “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” in our time and place (16:58).
