Redeemer Youth
Making Disciples of our Youth
Identity. Purpose. Belonging. These three words capture the needs of so many youth today as they live in our digital, global world. This generation is globally connected, creative, and entrepreneurial, but also anxious and lonely. They long for meaningful relationships to help them navigate life.
Here at Redeemer, we know we have the answer youth need: the gospel. We believe that the gospel restores us to a right relationship with God, with ourselves, and with others. Because of that, we aim to engage youth in life-on-life discipleship with trusted adults who love them, God, and His Word.
Jodie Hutchins, our Family Ministry Director, leads our youth gospel community (YGC) with a team of volunteer adult leaders. YGC is for 6th-12th grade students and meets biweekly at the church on 1st and 3rd Sundays from 6-8 PM.
Students and leaders connect through games, snacks, time in God’s Word, and relationship-building activities. If you would like more information about YGC, please email Kaysha Herd: kayshaherd@gmail.com.
