The Resurrection

In Luke 24:1-12 we see the account of the empty tomb. Early on Sunday morning, several of the women who followed Jesus came to the tomb to honor Jesus’s body with spices and ointment, to their surprise they found the stone rolled away and only grave clothes left behind. In this sermon, we consider all of the implications of the reality of the resurrection, and how it gives us marvelous hope in a world of suffering and death.
