Jesus Saves A Rich Man

In this passage, we consider the lingering question from chapter 18, can a rich man be saved? We see in the story of Zacchaeus that the grace of God in Jesus has the power to save a rich and powerful man like Zacchaeus. When salvation comes to the rich it releases them from serving their money so that they might embrace a life of generosity and deal fairly with others. We too must embrace Jesus as our greatest treasure if want to experience freedom from the tyranny of wealth.
